I feel old now. Tuesday last week I turned 21 years old. Thank you to everyone who sent me birthday congratulations, cards and well wishes. I am not supposed to be getting this old!! Haha. My body has all the aches and soreness that an old person might have but it just comes with all the walking around. Another crazy thing is that in 9 months I'll be home. The time is going by so fast! 

Tuesday at our district/ zone meeting Elder Clegg baught me a big cookie and put a crazy candle on it and the zone sang happy birthday to be. I also got to go back to Sabinas Hidalgo!! I spent my birthday last year there when I was still being trained and I got to spend it again there. It was interesting to see the change that I had made. From training to now D.L. It was really cool seeing a lot of the members that I knew and meet a few new ones. I made me one of the mini cakes that my mom sent me and that was good. 

Saturday, The zone came to our area and helped us paint a house of one of our investigators in the morning. That was pretty fun. Our investigator (Magda) gave us all breakfast and lunch. We painted the entire house inside and out so it took us a little while. 

I am really missing the lakes and the boat. The heat has been starting to go up little by little. The worst won't come till mid July but we are almost there. Drinking tons of water so don't worry. We have President McArthur for 2 more weeks and then we get our new mission President. We'll see how that goes. I love you all! I miss you! Have an amazing week!

Jan 7 - Bad Toes

Jan. 7 well this last week was pretty eventful. Wednesday I had to go to the hospital to get both of my toes taken care of because I had ingrown toenails on both feet. Since it was both feet I've been unable to do anything for almost the whole week. Today I am going back to get the stitches out so I can get back to working. It isn't even cold down here. Training

Hey everyone so I just finished my first week as a trainer. My new companion is Elder Peña from the Dominican Republic. He is 25 years old and is a convert of 2 and a half years. I almost feel like I am the one being trained here haha. He has so much gospel knowledge and has absolutely no problem with wanting to talk to people. He is also exactly obedient along with me. We have a baptism for the 31st coming up and we are finding more people to teach. I have a good feeling about the success we are going to have this change.  I am also excited for my Christmas call coming up on Monday next week!! I get to see my family! Tomorrow is our mission talent show/ christmas dinner and I'll be singing let it go haha.  I love you all! Talk to you next week New Trainers And your new trainee is........ 1 year mark!!!

Hey everyone! So this last week I hit my 1 year mark on the 4th! It is so weird. I don't feel like I have been out here for a year already. I have learned so much and for this last half I am going to apply what I have learned to bring out my full missionary potential!  This week we are going to be having a baptism on Saturday. And then we are going to be having changes next Tuesday so we'll see what happens there as well. I have been here in Allende for a while so there is a chance that I get changed. We are all pretty sure that Elder Hendricks is gonna be going too.  We had a cool opportunity to do some service on Saturday. We helped a guy cut some weeds and clean up his yard too. His neighbor thought we were crazy for coming here to Mexico for two years to help people, but was impressed as well.  Anyway, Love you all! Have a great week!
