Hey everyone! So this last week I hit my 1 year mark on the 4th! It is so weird. I don't feel like I have been out here for a year already. I have learned so much and for this last half I am going to apply what I have learned to bring out my full missionary potential!
This week we are going to be having a baptism on Saturday. And then we are going to be having changes next Tuesday so we'll see what happens there as well. I have been here in Allende for a while so there is a chance that I get changed. We are all pretty sure that Elder Hendricks is gonna be going too.
We had a cool opportunity to do some service on Saturday. We helped a guy cut some weeds and clean up his yard too. His neighbor thought we were crazy for coming here to Mexico for two years to help people, but was impressed as well.
Anyway, Love you all! Have a great week!
Elder Hoyt
(Elder Hoyt says that time is going by so fast and that he can't believe that it has been a year already. The heat is reaching the ridiculous stage. His trainer Elder Pena, who returned home from his mission last fall, wrote recently and said that he is doing well. He is just working and getting ready to start college. It was great for him to see his old MTC district as they went to renew their visas. He is super excited for the baptism coming up.)
