Hola mi familia y mis amigos! Les amo bastante y les extraño!!

We had a small district Thanksgiving on Thursday in our appartment. All the food that my mom sent me in the last package was the perfect amount for 4 hungry Elders. The only latino in our district (Elder Cardenas) even got a little taste of American tradition and was his first time eating Turkey. He loved it! It was actually really great. I can't believe this Friday is December 1st. In one week I'll have been out here in the field for 8 months!! Time has already flown by and I can't believe the year is almost over. 

We had our confirmation of Paty (who was baptized last week) yesterday during sacrament meeting so that was another great thing that happened this last week as well. Today we had our district meeting in Montemorelos before starting our P day and we had our zone activity as well which was pretty cool. We went and took pictures up on this huge monument with a giant statue that overlooks the city. You can actually see the (Cerro de la silla) from there. Cerro de la silla is the mountain of Monterrey that looks like it has two big points coming out the top.

Jan 7 - Bad Toes

Jan. 7 well this last week was pretty eventful. Wednesday I had to go to the hospital to get both of my toes taken care of because I had ingrown toenails on both feet. Since it was both feet I've been unable to do anything for almost the whole week. Today I am going back to get the stitches out so I can get back to working. It isn't even cold down here. Training

Hey everyone so I just finished my first week as a trainer. My new companion is Elder Peña from the Dominican Republic. He is 25 years old and is a convert of 2 and a half years. I almost feel like I am the one being trained here haha. He has so much gospel knowledge and has absolutely no problem with wanting to talk to people. He is also exactly obedient along with me. We have a baptism for the 31st coming up and we are finding more people to teach. I have a good feeling about the success we are going to have this change.  I am also excited for my Christmas call coming up on Monday next week!! I get to see my family! Tomorrow is our mission talent show/ christmas dinner and I'll be singing let it go haha.  I love you all! Talk to you next week New Trainers And your new trainee is........ 1 year mark!!!

Hey everyone! So this last week I hit my 1 year mark on the 4th! It is so weird. I don't feel like I have been out here for a year already. I have learned so much and for this last half I am going to apply what I have learned to bring out my full missionary potential!  This week we are going to be having a baptism on Saturday. And then we are going to be having changes next Tuesday so we'll see what happens there as well. I have been here in Allende for a while so there is a chance that I get changed. We are all pretty sure that Elder Hendricks is gonna be going too.  We had a cool opportunity to do some service on Saturday. We helped a guy cut some weeds and clean up his yard too. His neighbor thought we were crazy for coming here to Mexico for two years to help people, but was impressed as well.  Anyway, Love you all! Have a great week!
